No. Of course I don't mean like the system you already have, because that's obviously not working very well for ya. Just a quick idea. Maybe do so people can't post links until they're at 5-10 posts. That would definitely help
This is a bad idea in the long term. Once the people that are responsible for the spam accounts know about the new system, they will start to abuse its obvious flaws. They will try to disguise their links, so that they are still plausible for humans but harder to detect for your system. Example:
Instead of posting links like this: "
www.example.com/some/path"
they will start to post them like this: "www . example . com / some / path"
Of course you could improve your system over time to detect those "links" aswell, but once you accomplish that the "attackers" will just find another way of hiding their links. Instead of wasting time to implement such a system, we should focus on improving the systems that are already in place by continuosly reporting spam posts.
Such a system would also be a burden for new users of course...
