A lot of it is nostalgia but there are certain aspects of it that I'm excited to see again however, I don't think I'll be playing it for longer than a few months, classic will be successful I think but a lot of people are getting there hopes up without truly knowing what for.

The main thing that stands out to me about older wow, even though I only started playing in Lich was the progression, you constantly felt as if you were progressing especially before heirloom gear when you would get a new piece of gear you would feel stronger and using talent tree's in earlier wow truly made your character feel stronger, sadly in current WoW you get like 7 talents to spend from 1-120 and you can go multiple levels without your character ever feeling different.
