What are your opinions on the movie?
Was pretty obvious, nonetheless a good movie.

Honestly a great movie, doesn’t come out until Saturday for me...

It's funny how certain people used this thread to essentially state the biggest events that happen in the film and not actually discuss anything just to troll the people who couldn't resist the temptation to read the thread.

The tedium of the trolling aside; I was wondering when someone would make this topic.

Personally, I think the film was great. It tied up a lot of loose ends, and definitely hit the fanbase in the feels multiple times. Alongside that, it opened up an interesting premise for the Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
What I think worked well most notably was the insight into the mindset of all the characters affected by the snap. Obviously, it was a long part of the film, just dealing with the aftermath before actually finding a potential solution - but I think it worked. It was a big plant for an even bigger payoff.

Funnily enough, at the beginning of our viewing before the film even started - some dude kicked open the door and screamed the biggest spoiler before running off. Not that it really bugged anyone, though I did hear some grumbling from my friends so I suppose I might be wrong.

All in all, a fitting end. Not really a spoiler so much as just something cute at the end, but during the end credits, they have that thing where instead of just showing the normal names of the principal actors, they show the name and the signature of that actor. Pretty cool!

Ah, one last thing: If you go there expecting a mid-creds/end-creds scene? Don't. There won't be one. Much like with Deadpool 2, there isn't one. Kind of sucks - but I also get the logic. Final film, there's not really much to allude to because they already pretty much covered everything and tied everything up in a bow.

Great film in my opinion. But I just wanted to ask you guys: I personally think that Captain Marvel did not have a big role, she yes did fight Thanos at the end and the Avengers would probably have lost without her (because she is OP) but for the rest I think they maybe could have give her more utility. She saved Tony and Nebula but that's all when everyone was in the past to save the world. She was "helping other people on other planets" but I think something else could have been better for the most powerful character. I just would like to know your opinion about it.

Also I'm glad that Captain America got Thor's hammer or Iron-Man used Thanos's gauntlet, I remember the comics and I think everyone got a little happy when this happened (I mean before Iron-Man dies of using it)

The thing with OP characters, especially in a narrative like Marvel Comics, is that they're essentially Deus Ex Machinas for the plot. Killing Thanos/stopping Thanos was obviously a huge priority for Danvers (Captain Marvel), but they figured for the sake of the narrative it probably would've made more sense for the characters to go back to their own past - especially considering Danvers was only in one film. She still played a fairly vital role, but if they had her to help with everything, it wouldn't have been quite as interesting because part of the appeal is the struggle. Though, fun fact: MCU Thor is pretty severely nerfed in comparison to the comics.
