Everyone is stupid for hating it, you are just being entitled what would have sucked is if they did it forever. More money will be going back to the developers in the end so its a win win, as well as they have a large upfront paycheck to layback on just in case the game flops and fails.

It makes a *LOT* of sense on why they are doing it
