I think something similar to this happened to me with gmod when I tried to join a NaziRP server and Malwarebytes closed my gmod and marked it as ransomware I fixed it by disabling Malwarebytes.	Blueperson Offline Gold Boarder Jump in a bridge Posts: 2026 Thanks received: 637 Karma: 0

Well that may not be the best idea since there are ways to do malicious activities on your computer from just connecting to a gmod server, but the problem here should be solved by reinstalling visual c++ 2010. In the Hearts of Iron folder go to _CommonRedist\vcredist\ and run the 2010 version as administrator.
