TOPIC: Thought this was needed

So as some as you know, i've been turning into a bit of a "pill popper" however I feel like that term is insensitive and a bit cruel as we all have our reasons, and mine is crippling anxiety and mild psychosis.

So i've been trying to sober up after binging on Alzopram for the past 3 weeks, basically spent every day out of my mind so I don't have to experience the pain of my everyday life, like daily chores which are easy to most can be extremely hard to me, thankfully I have amazing support around me or honestly i'd probably be dead if I didn't.

I'm not making this post for "attention" by the way, I felt like it was needed that I get some shit off my chest, i'm not really a "drug addict" as I don't actually do any other drug other than Alzopram, but I do have an issue and i'm aware of that.

It's been day 1 so far and honestly it's been a very hard day, thank god though I have people to support me through these tough days, after a few days I should be feeling much better and I honestly miss being completely drug free, it's easier to live when you don't have drugs on your mind.

Now with this, I feel like I may need to take a break from Zarp as well, i'll still be lurking on the Teamspeak and i'll hop on for the Nightclub opening, but I can tell that gaming is affecting me for the bad and I use them as a way to escape my reality and for some reason, Garry's Mod especially makes me able to escape my reality but now I gotta face it, plus i'm now getting much better at Guitar and I want that to be my main focus, not cumming over a virtual game.

And to conclude this, I know i'm not the only one in this community who suffers, and if anyone ever needs support then feel free to send me a message or something, i'll be glad to help anyone going through tough times. Also please keep the shitposting to a minimal, there's times for it and this isn't it chief.

cant really comment much on the topic as a whole other than the fact that im wishing you the best in sorting this all out, however for some advice be very careful coming off that shit cold turkey, because the withdrawal can cause seizures and has the potential to be fatal if you were a super heavy user

Its rare seeing people expressing themselves within reasonable manner on these forums. Kudos on you and try to not go further with the drug usage because it will get even harder coming back from.

I deal with psychosis as well and I know how terrible it can be. I used to just lay around for days wondering when it would end.I still deal with it but I now have proper meds and support, I know sometimes it feels like alternatives could help to escape but you just have to hang in there man, I promise it will get better .
