why would anyone buy cases anyways. Just buy some keys yourself.

You can't trade ANY item yet, you need to buy an item in the TF2 shop, not in the Steam market.
Once your purchased an item from the TF2 shop, you will be able to trade and sell your cases, and also trade any of your items.
