1. Multiplayer beta was just added so you can play with your friends (it is going to be improved upon. Very basic and just released recently.
2. The game can be modded and has extensive and developer backed mod support.
3. The developers are active and do update videos.
4. NO DLC. The game has been being updated for years after release and it's all been free.
5. fun game overall.
