Hey,
So basically there's this really annoying problem with my internet that is exclusive to this PC. On random occasions, my internet will stop working. It will show either something along the lines of "Invalid IP configuration," "Standard Gateway is not available" or both when I troubleshoot. However, rarely, it will show something like "DHCP is disabled" etc. and that's usually a sign it's working again. All I need to do then is let the troubleshooting program do its thing. So that's it. I'd be very happy with some advice or help with this situation, if you know anything about it please tell me. Cheers, Rick |

One of the fixes I found on line was this, firstly hold Windows key and R then search for ncpa.cpl and open that. Then, right click your network adapter and hit "properties". Next, find the item on the list named Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and hit properties after clicking the item. Make sure it's set to automatically find the DNS Server and obtain an IP address automatically.
There's a lot of reason's as to why this might be happening but there's a bunch of possible solutions found here: windowsreport.com/ethernet-valid-ip-configuration-windows-10/ |
