well perp is shite, basewars is good, zarp can easily be the biggest basewars server if they do it right since the rest are just a shambles

What??? This Gamemode was the newest added to zarp in a while. It isnt a "classic", I know there was one a long time ago but I cant even remember it. Nobody gave two shits about Murder as it got boring after 3 minutes. This server isn't "the old days" either, it was a huge failure and it didnt even last a whole year. I also have no idea where you got "it was one of the most popular." Murder averaged 2 players monthly unless someone made a post on forums begging people to join.

My man I understand you worked hard on that server, but Murder has failed to work here twice. It isnt the quality of your server, its the gamemode. Its just uniquely boring, as many people have said its just a dumbed down version of TTT.

Actually, there are a lot of popular Murder servers these days that don't pop up on the Internet list but instead you have to type "connect [server IP] " in the console. Found it out because i have a friend in the USA. Those sservers were not on my list probably bcz i'm from Europe...

There aren't really any good alternative gamemodes except maybe Starwarsrp and MilitaryRp. The lead team worked closely with bringing a MilitaryRP server last summer to life; but i have no idea how that went. The ultimate decision would be to experiment with other games.

There was a Rust server that lasted for quite a while and I remember enjoying it before the Creator quit. I don't think it would be a bad idea into making a modern Rust server, as i've seen lots of Zarp players playing it on a regular basis. I believe a |Vanilla - 2 Week Wipe| cycle would be neat & proving efficient and would allow for less tryhards and more casuals to enjoy the game. The pro's of a Rust server are that you have more to work for and it's less of a shitty minigame that gets boring after 2 hours of playing it - *cough* murder *cough* JB *cough*. Other included pro's are:

- Good gameplay
- Actively updated
- Doesn't look realistic but looks pretty neat overall (except playermodels)
- Rewards cooperation and urges for a network effect
