Personally I despise it when people promise something that they cannot deliver and, even more so, when they speak about something that isn't actually happening.

Because of this I only actively speak about an update "coming soon" when I actually know it is. When I just got CM I told people that I had no idea when an update would be coming because as far as I knew it wasn't coming anytime soon. Later I changed my stance on that front to "an update is coming soon." Not because I was lying, but because I was given information that pointed at the fact that an update would indeed be coming soon.

This has not changed. An update is on its way relatively shortly now. Everyone has waited for seven months - I'm sure you can wait another short while longer.
