TOPIC: Raeker's 2018 Community Manager Campaign

Community Members, it is about time that we got this show onto the road!

Let's talk about the man of the hour, Raeker and what you can expect from him, but just before we get into that, let's discuss some of his redeeming qualities that makes Raeker stand out from the crowd.

Firstly, as you might of noticed by now Raeker is very much a people person, meaning that he'll be the first one in line to speak to you and hear you out about any type of issues, concerns or even suggestions you might have! If you approach him he is always willing to make time for you so you can tell him your thoughts.

Now I know this has been said by a lot of candidates who haven't held their word, either from the point of acceptance or a short period after they became a Community Manager.

I won't sugar coat this, but being a Community Manager is a lot of work, time and dedication that you'll need to put into making sure that the people who voted for you ultimately don't regret their decision in voting for you down the line, and if you simply don't have the time or the will to really take on this burden, then you should really reconsider your candidacy in the first place.

If you are unfamiliar with the reasons why Raeker stepped down in the first place, something that the community may of been unaware of, is simply the fact that his real life took a massive turn which caused him to have to reconsider his current commitments to the Community at that time. Because of later events these events have been reversed which is why he has returned to the community.

Now you might be asking yourself "Why does Raeker want CM?" His application is rather lengthy, but it covers a lot of points that not only he believes in, but also what the Community believes in. He wants to make a change within the community, and improve all the servers thoroughly. He wishes to improve communication from the CM team towards all users within the community, and he wants to ensure that as many people as possible can enjoy ZARP. A lot of his ideas reflect this.

How would you get on the SSRP Map Testing Team? I would love to do that.

When the time comes we'll discuss it with Patrick a little further, but it is very possible we'll turn it into a whole application process that the CM Team approves together with Patrick.

EDIT: Obviously that's just my opinion and fully up for review. If I were to be chosen it's definitely something that would be discussed more indepthly with my fellow CM team members at that time.
