I'm not too sure what I am looking at but my current Corsair VS350 PSU is so loud that when I turn my PC on in the morning and get back into bed for an extra hours sleep. It keeps me awake performing very simple, small tasks and I can only assume that it is the fan inside the Power Supply causing the noise due to the bearings being worn out.
I don't want to just go an buy a top of the range PSU that outputs too much wattage and fries my Motherboard and I am also looking for one that makes as little noise as possible.
Current PC Specs:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-6600 3.30GHz
- RAM: Kingston 8GB (2x4GB)
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
- MOBO: Gigabyte G1.SNIPER B7-CF
I'll most likely be buying a new one when I scrape together the money to buy one but until then has anyone got any fixes that aren't lathering it in milk and butter or sticking it in the microwave wrapped in tinfoil? As for the price range, let's try to keep it reasonable yeah?
