This ever happened to any of you guys? 6 years 11 months ago #851583

I was just watching some youtube videos and my mother came into my room, showing me a message coming from my phone, saying that I'm in big trouble and some other shit. She was wondering if I sent it, which I did not. I checked my phone, and apparently I got a message from my mother's phone, saying

"Don't poke around where you don't belong, Oscar".

I just ignored it really, threw my phone on the bed and just continued watching.
Around 3 minutes after, someone called my phone, from my Mom's number, talking to me. Saying that I am in big trouble, things are going to happened. He was from England as far as I know, using a deep voice changer. I told him to use his real voice but he wouldn't. I just told him to piss off, ended the phone call. Now i'm waiting for them to call back.
It's just weird how they call from her phone, and I can't really see where it's coming from or the number.

Ever happened to you guys?

Im really not that good in that sort of stuff, maybe you can ask around the community on how to figure out that stuff.

Someone has been spoofing their number for calls / messages to you from your mother, it can be done very easily. If anyone did that though, you most likely did something to get on the wrong side of them, or they're trying to prank you, so consider that. Well one thing that does happen is that my mums patients keeps getting my number for some reason so i get calls like "what should i do if my head hurts".
