TOPIC: Why zarp is dead

1) People who leave oftentimes state that they are leaving because the server is dying, I don’t know who started it, but compared to the last months, the amount of leaving posts has neither increased or decreased. But people like to give their leaving post more weight by telling everyone that Zarp is dead. Before that it was just: “I got bored” and at the next update everyone would be back.

2) The Update
The Update has lasted quite long in comparison to previous updates, but why not? We get to do stuff we couldn’t during update downtime and the map is quite good looking isn’t it... Pariz will continue developing the new map soon, just be patient and give our amazing map developer a little time to sort his personal stuff out.

3) Major Decline in Staff Team
Right now I almost never see F1s not being handled. But since the staff team was recently cracked down, a lot of inactive staff members where demoted, so it might seem like: “The staff team is smaller, so the server population must be getting less aswell!” That is not true and we have some of the most dedicated staff members in terms of doing F1s and handling reports right now!

4) A lot of longterm Members are leaving
Sometimes you just grow out of something, maybe you found something better to do then playing Gmod. I would not say that a lot of people in this community are over 20, plenty of exceptions though. But just because some of the longest lasting people are quitting doesn’t mean we aren’t getting an influx of new and exciting guys to play with. Zarp is still in the Top DarkRP servers and creates some of the most unique content!

It's normal. People come and go, even the long term ones. There have been many times in the past back in my previous community where similar situations would occur yet newer people would hop on making it 'alive' again.
