TOPIC: Zarp is not dying, this is why you think it is!

Happends everytime after a update, pretty normal to be honest.

The veterans on Zarp get bored and Zarp dies. The veterans are what kept this joke of a server alive but since Chute only cared to satisfy what newer players wanted (and attracting them to buy VIP & Booster packs) without putting enough effort to satisfy the players who ACTUALLY bother staying for more than an hour on the server.

I mean come on, this server is unplayable if you don't spend money on it. You can't even become the job you want to be 7/10 times. Nor can you do anything that makes the server attractive to play on, 50 prop limit? Please...

Then there's this bullshit getting utterly destroyed by someone who spent 2000 dollars on the server. You're literally forced to spend money and only 0,0016% do that and bother staying.

Zarp did creative updates when the wheel was firstly launched. I can't believe how excited I was to get my hands on a Rare case or a Mega gift. That's living proof how Zarp has gone shit when you don't appreciate those items anymore because they're teasing you with new and better items such as a suit that gives wallhack and teleporting abilities?

When playing Zarp as a freshcomer you look at the F4 menu and see a bunch of "newly" content That's not content, that's milking the last dollars before the server dies. All there is to say about Zarp is how predictable the content is and nothing will suprise you anymore cause They don't care anymore. They prioritize normal lives. To prove that, Zarp is bringing exactly 5 items every update: A suit, a printer, better printer booster, an explosive weapon and 1 useless item like laser dagger about every update with little variation. Sure Patrick the mapper makes the updates alot better but that's a community contribution and not EMP or Chutes effort that was put in.

I've had a nice run since late 2012 but man this is a joke what Zarp has turned into.

Let's be honest guys, this last year, managers did SHIT.
Also, this last year, 70% of staff that been rectruited in SSRP are SHIT and doesn't deserve their rank, many staff are going AFK much, if you apply for MODERATOR or staff anyway, DO YOUR JOB, stop playing normaly, you should take 80% of your time in the server to DO YOUR STAFF JOB, that is the thing i would do personally.
2016 to 2018, Zarp is sinking much, tbh only the OG players will be still here.
Hope CM managers aren't gonna do shit this year.

Happens this time of year all the time and usually inbetween updates.

Less and less people will be playing this outdated 13 year old game, and people will move on. That's just how it is. Maybe we can be the top server but we won't see a large influx of players that stay and contribute ever again. Players will always mature and eventually stop playing this game/games in general.

However, Zarp has a much larger problem than that - it's really the server and staff itself.

I haven't seen the community's ideas ever implemented or even considered. The CMs last year.. what did they do? What have they done this year? I don't really want to hear the words "a lot of stuff under the covers for x and y! don't worry, good things are coming!" because that's not tangible and frankly most people couldn't give a shit. Demotivated CMs = that level of demotivation falling through the ranks, down to HAs who don't care and it'll go all the way to the players. People may or may not be slowly realizing that, but why would it matter if people keep spending money?

I don't mean to shit on CMs, but if nothing gets done it's ultimately to be blamed on someone/something, and the server is definitely prosperous enough to run financially. (Hiring developers would be a good idea but not at all a necessity if you have a community to help you out.) Focus should be moved onto the community IMO. CMs set the whole year's purpose and how the server should run, organizing updates and managing staff. I don't want to suck anyone's dick and I realize the decision has been made already, but Raeker was an amazing outstanding candidate because he had passion for the server. Things may have been different if he were promoted, maybe not.

Sorry about the unorganized rant but I don't see why not, and I'm bored. There's more factors to discuss and these ones in more detail. Maybe I'll receive backlash for this, maybe not.
