no reason for it to be locked. I understand you want to minimise drama, but imo a similar post was needed to come to a solution. would appreciate it if you spoke to me about the locking of the post so we can come to some.sort of middle ground or resolution.

Your post was not constructive, and it held the purpose of starting drama / trouble on the forums. If you wish to, add Cranky on Steam or come on Teamspeak and I am sure he will be happy to talk to you.

it may have had a harsh tone, but surely a harsh tone was needed to get the point across? considering you've employed a much harsher tone before (i understand why, not using it to take a dig at you) I don't see why this is so bad

the purpose was not to cause problems, and I don't understand how it could be seen as such if you actually fully read it. the purpose was to conclude all this bullshit and all the arguments so the community can move forward while not being so divided.

I looked at the post myself just now because your comment on "harsh tone" confused me.
I see now why you don't like the fact that the post was locked, however the post does seem like it would start drama. I told Cranky that a better idea might be to unlock the post and just move it into the drama hole, as that is where drama inducing posts are meant to go.

at least observe the way the community receives the post first, before completely condemning it because you disagree with the wording or something like that.

If people manage to accept their wrongdoings, it will not cause drama. I will do you a deal:

1. Move this back to general discussion.
2. I will make a strong attempt to diffuse any possible drama.
3. I will take full liability for ALL drama caused, and take a ban if it really gets that bad.

Sometimes the benefits of the post outweigh the negatives, which are really only limited to the possibility of drama.
