so right now righteous ban-hungry people like morgan ban people for using 60's AMERICAN language like cotton-picking which has an outdated racist meaning, like what the fuck.

used for emphasis.
"just a cotton-picking minute!"
that is it's FULL meaning, the racism from the word has been removed and people regularly use it in the language most likely in america also in the normal parts of the world where people don't get offended for saying hello.
