Items cannot disappear, did the server lag out as in crashed?

Stored items simply cannot dissapear. If the server crashed then maybe, I don't know, but if you properly managed to store it then it simply cannot be gone.

What I think happened is that you disconnected with the item on you and it was lost - if you disconnect because of a server error you can make a refund request for the scan master, if you have enough proof.
