I would've ranked them but I found it too difficult as the shows are very different in the stories and characters they portray and ranking them isn't really an effective way of explaining what's good about them.

True Detective
First season was great and probably one of the finest seasons of any show I have ever watched. It was quite a dark, depressing and twisted story that had some form of beauty about it and managed to portray both a very interesting case and very interesting characters, primarily Rust Cohle(Matthew McConaughey). It was also very well shot with a bunch of atmosphere and a stunning single shot scene that lasted six minutes.

Game of Thrones
I really like Game of Thrones, the characters are very nuanced and well written, the show does a good job of portraying people doing bad things without instantly turning them into a one-sided horrible villain, a lot of shows and movies fail to do this.

Breaking Bad
Breaking Bad is well acted and did a good job of having interesting story lines, I'm glad they didn't draw it out more either as they ended it in a great, bitter sweet way.

Hannibal
I really enjoyed the dark and grim tone of Hannibal, I have yet to watch season 3 but I quite liked the first season and I really enjoyed the second season.

Daredevil
Daredevil is great, I thought that a superhero/vigilante story developed by an online streaming service would turn out dull or really bad but instead they managed to make something great, I really enjoyed the first season and the addition of The Punisher in the second season was great and made the second season even better than the first.

The Walking Dead
The show can be hit and miss for me as certain episodes can feel too much like filler or boring, I really enjoyed the first season and all of the episodes directed by Frank Darabont other than that I liked the third season and most of the episodes that feature the governor and I'm also really exited to see where the show goes with the new villain, Negan.

Sherlock
I really enjoyed Sherlock and I think Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman did a really good job, the show whilst remaining quite serious got some nice comedic relief from Sherlock's sometimes odd behaviour and ways of talking to people.

Dexter
I really enjoyed certain parts of Dexter. The first season was great and so was the Trinity arch but a lot of it also fell flat and I decided to not watch the last season giving that I'd already been told about the very unsatisfying ending that it had. Yet, the first season and some of the other stories the show has to tell are great and I really enjoyed them.

I did finish breaking bad but for some reason for me its just not in my current top 5, even tho it was a good one..
