So, this is a bit lighter than yesterday. It's more a game than anything else.

Y'all know I like fun facts. Well, why don't we all share some fun facts? This can be movie, book, game trivia, scientific facts, general academia, etc. Whatever really pops into your head!

To get us started:

The Epic of Gilgamesh is the oldest surviving notable literature, and was written into several tablets - some of which are lost. It's from ancient Mesopotamia, and features the eponymous hero Gilgamesh on a journey with his best friend Enkidu.

It's interesting stuff. The only thing older that's known are what we call the pyramid texts, which are, as one might assume, texts written into the pyramids.

Should also be noted that this information is very easily found on the Wikipedia page of this particular story.

When you look up into the sky and you see all the stars shining above us, you are actually looking into the past, because of the distance and time it takes for the light to travel what you are actually seeing may not be there anymore.

Also due to the fact that the universe is ever expanding, the stars we see will all eventually pass the event horizon of the observable universe meaning sometime in the future our younger generation may not ever get too see stars or anything and they will probably be taught about them in history.

It might seem safe to assume that the Canary Islands were named after canary birds, but the location was actually named for a different animal. Although it's off the coast of northwestern Africa, the archipelago is actually part of Spain. In Spanish, the area's name is Islas Canarias, which comes from the Latin phrase Canariae Insulae for "island of dogs."

Denmark and Canada is at war.
Whiskey war.
It isn't really a war, we just keep taking turn to go to an island called Hans island and knocking over eachothers flag, and place either a canadian whiskey or danish bottle of snaps.

Love these so far - keep it up!

Video Game Trivia:

Playable Teaser, or P.T. as it's more widely known, was a surprise reveal for the development of a new entry into the Silent Hill franchise, known as Silent Hills.
It would've had Norman Reedus as the main character, and was supposed to be a joint creative effort by master of monsters, Guillermo Del Toro, and video game auteur and legend, Hideo Kojima. Unfortunately, the project was cancelled.

The popularity of P.T. however, meant that a number of tributes and homages were made and released, including Layers of Fear, Allison Road (which was never made, sadly), Visage, Home Sweet Home, Silent Descent, The Survey, God's Basement, Mists of Aiden, and a lot more. While they're not *all* based on P.T., it revolutionized and spearheaded a new movement of horror titles which you might call House Horror, or alternatively, Guilt Horror - where the twist is usually that the protagonist is the bad guy and is paying for sins.
