At this stage in life they are "existing" rather than living. just like having people behind the bars till the end of their life, having people in comas until they die is a waste of money I do also agree with this and that the money could be better spent. However the family might not at all agree... Why should the family be asked if the person is already basically dead? Because in this situation the person cannot make the decision for themselves. Therefore the family should have first priority over their relative. Why should there even be a place for decision? person is already dead It doesn't always work like that. But it should. There is a difference between what it should be and is... But yeah it could be reworked. |
