Well latly there's been alot of people complaining about miners and how ppeople take them all but iif you want to be one buy vip and you will be fine thanks

AFK mining poses a problem because it provides a nearly risk free environment for people to earn money / gems. So many people are now doing this that it's detracting from the RP of the server at times. Imho the gem system should be reworked in the Christmas update to nerf ruby yet again, and to buff other methods of gaining gems, such as growing weed to convert.e

Perhaps introducing a new currency to spin the wheel and an NPC where people can convert gems to this new currency. Something festive no doubt.

Wolfie, what I meant was that it wasn't the main problem. However it is a problem for new players, players low on cash or just someone who dislikes buying stuff on the internet/aren't allowed to. These things do happen. I'm just stating that it is a problem. The thing about the staff members being AFK that I mentioned, is that the problem this poses is that people feel safer in an environment where they know staff is present to help them. I know how it was to be staff, I know that it can be boring to do all F1's and have no time to play, but then I believe you actually have to play, not have a script running while you sleep, eat or work, y'know being real AFK. I can understand AFK mining in the sense you can do other stuff while near the computer and be able to help out or other things, the other though seems quite.. dishonest.
As Exrobite put it, it's a nearly risk free environment for people to earn money. The only real threat miners have are bounties or rule breakers. Everyone else has the constant problem with being raided if they don't have a good enough base.

Back to the staff thing though, I am not in any way stating that all staff members just sit on their arse and do nothing. I get that handling F1's all day is quite annoying, but then again people did apply for staff on a highly popular server and should be aware what they go info, I understand that staff as players of the server want to enjoy that time as well, but they are there to improve the environment for other players too. On server 1 this isn't as big as a problem.

mabye make so the stones slowly exed / desepier so you have to move some times.

I am personally gonna bring afk mining up in the next lead team meeting. And we dont wanna force people to buying VIP to get a miner job
