Hello Guys, I have wanted to put this up for a while but no had time, so please read carefully;

When I used to go on for hours I would find that no one ever based which made it boring so I could only guess they did not base due to the weapons making raids so easy, but there also other reason why I bring this forward as I once played another DarkRP server and based and some tried to raid me and they did the lock picking style which is what I miss and maybe some other people in the community to.

I remember the times before we had the explosives where raiding someone would be applauding and not just stand back and blow the whole base up... and your in, I loved how it used to be and I know there has been loads of posts just like this but I want to know everyone's opinion?

I was thinking maybe make it not to be able to blow up props on server 1/2 and on the other server 1/2 make so the explosives can only kill and not blow up props.

I have always loved basing but since the explosives came out it has always been easy to raid and made basing boring and I just wish it was like the old days but I want to know what you guys think? I don't think we would completely remove them as loads of people have them and just removing them would lose people tons of money and time they spent making them.

I mean't making this post, but I never got to it. I go on KDG just to see what it's like every once and awhile. They have this certain class called a Terrorist. The Terrorist is given a C4 and a IED I believe and only can be used against police or something like that. Explosives are too OP and make basing no fun since you can just get blown up and not be able to really defend yourselves against a true raid. The explosives need to be.. A.Nerfed or B.Removed

I love the way tigz is saying half and half on the lockpicking and the explosions. i think if the explosive weapons were a bit more expensive and make the uranium expensive also on the crafting it will help so people will not get milkor's,m202's so easy. So then they will be hard to craft and take up time crafting it. Unless if we follow tigz's suggestion. We can also do both so it will be worth crafting, and make the explosives have more worth in money and help people base and earn money.

I never minded them and out of all of these posts I always said just keep them the way they are. If it must be done then surely the explosion radius could just be nerfed instead of removal.
Either lowering the radius of the explosion or remove all the unfreezing done to props and just keep the damage therefore players could still use them to kill the players inside instead of actually gaining full access and killing them.

Alot of people have been investing on these explosive weapons, if they are nerfed or changed, the prices of the weapons would drop which would bring a change in the economy and if they do not base due to this, they can build a better base and I'm pretty sure you can defend your base if you have the skills.

Its not about people not wanting to base, the thing is I want it to be like the old days as when the explosives came out I started to slowly not like DarkRP its turned from DarkRP into Modern Warefare that is what I am trying to put accross

I am mixed about this, I think explosive weapons should be re balanced. So they are more expensive, less power, and their ammo stays when holstered.

Maybe if explosives only destroyed 20-30% of props.

And if better explosives do maybe 5-10% more damage than the previous weapon.

Before the explosives the server used to be amazing to base and was amazing to raid, it was more Role Play than Modern Warefare, but I will talk to chute about this. But I want to see more people discussing this.

Like a permanent weapon reskin.

The prices are different. for example I am reselling explosive weapons.
I'm buying for less and selling overpriced. If you give me the money for " the usual prices " I'd make no profit / or even lose money

That would be for the lead team to decide, by working out the cost of 1 steel and 1 uranium and finding out how much they are.

Well the only thing that would work without having a riot of butthurt people that lost their weapons (including me) is to make the crafting recipes A LOT higher, which would make prices higher therefore less people would risk loosing that much money and many couldnt even afford them...
