There are new players on daily who get raided by experienced players, I fucking hate seeing that shit go on and there's nothing I can do about it most of the time. It is extremely hard to start off on zarp nowadays because obtaining high tier items is painfully difficult and can most of the time only be obtained through events, which are constantly plagued with teaming and cheating. And I know there is no sort of reward that can be put into place for new players starting out because everyone with alts would abuse and take advantage of it. If you raid new players, you're a bitch, and you're directly responsible for the lowering numbers on the server. I don't know how many times I have to stress this point, if you see a new player raid bank, just let them do it, same goes for casino or the new PD armory. Please don't ruin their fun because you are bored, there are other things you can do.

It's plain and simple, if you ruin these player's experiences, they won't return. The community needs to be more welcoming of newer players and not continuously fuck them over at every opportunity they get. Maybe the richer players with 10s of every suit should be helping them out at the start, but instead they'd like to bitch and complain about the player count all day long. The map also plays a huge role in this, there should have been no reason why S1 and S3 need to use the same map. That was the only thing diversifying the 2 servers, and it was taken away. The lack of no other maps is painfully boring and can't be overlooked. And with the release of the new jet suit, I feel like the map should have stayed around even more, because the suit is pretty useless due to how low the skybox is on downtown. I can only imagine how fun it would have been to see this suit in action on rockford or evocity.

There are so many things that can be changed to assist newer players, but at this point the main thing driving them away is the amount of people that destroy their shit and force them off the servers. I remember when I first joined, the things that kept me around were the nice people I met on the server that didn't hesitate to help me out. That's simply not the case anymore, and I find it extremely ironic that the people who have 300b inventories are the ones to complain about player count, especially when they hoard items that wouldn't be hard to get or be expensive otherwise. The new craftables are a step in the right direction, but with how I feel about it, the items have always been moving in a forward direction and becoming more and more complex, but every single other feature of the server has fallen behind throughout the years. The map just doesn't support the items, the only viable place to base is elevator, and there are only very few places to nuke.

The list goes on, but people like to deny the facts instead of trying to fix them. The rich players need to stop hoarding their shit and absolutely raping the prices of items so it will eventually become easier for these players to obtain them. Don't raid the new players, which is something I shouldn't even have to say in the first place, but there are people that raid them for fun with suits and gluons which is so sad it's funny. If you are nuking or if there's a nuke about to go off, try to explain to every new player how to advanced dupe their buildings so they aren't lost to the nuke, or try and help them out by placing down a radiation shield on their entities. The CM team needs to do their part just as much as we need to do ours. It's not a one-sided ordeal, we both need to pitch in to make this work.

100% agree with you but not everyone are bad people though! When i was just getting started basing on my own and printing I got raided by Ash who then refunded me double of what he raided (Had a GPP down he gave me 2 GPP) Few hours later Miss Legend raids me too but refunds me afterwards with even better printers (Had 1 GPP down and she gave me 2 hell printers at no cost) Big ups to them and now they're letting me base with them the past couple days.

Its not just new players who get fucked over, poor players too lol. I played yesterday for a little bit and I don't own a suit, I was fucking about with a small base. Was having good fun vs other psg or rpgs whatever. Then two people who weren't together died a couple times fair and square to me then each of them returned separately one used some fast suit (idk which one) and a gloun, I died in like 2 seconds of seeing the person. Then the second fella came to fight with a psg like we had done before then half way into the fight puts on a jugg suit and equips a mini 2.0 and again died from the first shot :/ now should I feel shity for "losing" a fight or should I not care because I was at an impossible level disadvantage. But then from his side, is that fun? I'm not sure if its satisfying to have an instant win, im sure it would be a chuckle if the person got pissed off but I just felt disappointed that I didn't have a chance and it shows that I wouldn't be able to raid someone so why play. I never really understood how much of a disadvantage poorer players were at but damn man, if you dont have a shit ton of stuff you might as well sit afk or just quit, I think they maybe my advice to new players or poorer players asking for help. Dont bother, you have no chance the best thing you can do is quit and find a balanced server. I hate to say that cause I want to see new players, make new friends and get the server populated but its only getting worse and worse balance wise, I was saying it was out of control years ago, does anyone know if you can check how many brand new players come back? You are so correct about the people who use the op shit and ruin other players experience are the ones to complain. If I wasnt retarded I'd go make my own classic style server for the skillful loyals

That's also true, and part of that is the playerbase has gotten so used to suits that they are used in almost every single interaction. It wouldn't be a huge issue if all the suits weren't hoarded by rich players and were sold off instead of continuously going up in price because of this. You're 100% right about that, because I've seen older players with only a few mil and some cheap items try to make a return and with no success due to how ungodly hard it is to get a suit or make a decent amount of money on their own.

Issues with the server (do not shit post here) 5 years 1 week ago #1212423

ye it was kinda shameful to tell a brand new player today that the only way to really be able to play the server or enjoy the server was to pay to win, which is sad, as he asked if he could have printers, but that wouldnt mean shit with all the scan master and evo suits and shit that will just find him and fuck him. The server is in a shit state, and new players who join the server and dont want to spend money to play are forced to leave as they do not find enjoyment in the server without any op weapons or suits available to them.

EDIT: And even if they were to buy cases or shit from boosters, they open it and get complete dogshit. And if they were to get cases from events, they would probably be ripped off by experienced players.

The server has had so much overpowered content added that new players are not able to start as a free to play and work their way up to being rich or around the average active players.
