The whole idea of the mansion is that it should be a base house. In hope that people would base som new places.
My own and the community teams goal in the future is to created more base places, with inspiration of some of the bases in server 3. We hope that we can create such a great places that even if the raiders have the greatest weapons, then it would still be hard for them to get in. In other words, it would be more fair.
What i could do since i see some of the players are pointing out that its only our choices in the community team and mapping team that choice what is being updated. is that i could make a post asking for ideas of what could be changed to a great base area on server 1.
Nothing stands a chance against handcannon + amphetamine rush.
Tbh amphetamine should be nerfed so you can't take both morphine and amphetamine without a major backlash.

The thing is guys, basing is never going to be the same and there is nothing we can do. I know this is going to come off as rude but it's not how it's meant but it's how I see things. Ever since the blueprint cases got added, players complained about unrealistic weapons. It wasn't a huge problem at the time but then Christmas hits and the hand cannon came out. Chute and others realized that players enjoyed it, yeah we did until we realized the problems that come with it. A lot of money was made for them that update and I think they got the idea that more futuristic and abnormal it items would be more efficient at making money.
I think that's where they got the ideas of special suits and stuff. 2014 was stale for and little bit yes but it always came back around because basing was OP back then, not raiding. ZARP wasn't based on "skill" back then, a gang like relentless or Momentum could base perfectly fine, now days you need fucking Jug Suits and retarded tactics with loopholing buttons and keypads to even last a few ours. Yes 2016 and 2017 were the most successful years but they were so successful they made the next year's an upcoming shit storm. They added such unique and powerful items it killed the key factor of SSRP. They need ways to counter the flow of money and the new items that make basing shit.
ZARP has nearly always been a likeable server and an amazing experience and community, and even though some won't admit it lots of us would hate hate to see it die out as its been here for such a long time.
I think if chute and Emp want to keep this community up and running for the next few years they need to find
multiple areas that are good basing spots.
1. Balanced, so players basing have a chance with the right items and amount of players. But raiders also don't get trapped in corners and instantly killed by a ion beam.
2. Make multiple of these so one server can have more than one base at a time, like with elevators. Look how overpowered those were but also how successful it made the server. Players raiding basing all day long.
3. Add a Jackpot / gambling menu in the F4 menu. To gamble with the server and bring the flow of money down giving players reasons to base.(Max bet 1b so people can't win 40+b in one roll)
4. Nerf the hand cannon blast radius and damage.
