Sure but base shield and prop protection has a decent effect against T-Gun & M202 which makes it it's weak part and countering it means you use props to your advantage, though it's good for killing people with.

HC can wipe out ur base in less than 5 seconds lol. But it's not just that tho, you can fly with the HC, and shoot bases from the sky.

I reckon buffing HC's dmg on players, and nerfing dmg on props/splash dmg, would make it manageable.
By buffing the dmg it deals on people, it would disallow players to fly into the sky with HC, and by nerfing the dmg/splash dmg on props, it would maybe give defenders more than 5 sec to react to their base being 1 shot lol.

Sadly ive got to agree with this, the handcannon is ridicilously op, i really like to blow up bases within seconds, but its unfair to new players and gigantic bases. :plussp:

True, Handcannon jumping is a very easy way to get to unreachable spots on the map, and since it isn't propsurf or propclimb, it technically isnt even a rulebreak. I remember Handcannon jumping on that invisible ledge near Industrial on S2 and shooting down at people with a tgun, and nobody knew where the hell it was coming from. This was also the way that I got out of the map the night I m202ed, just thought I'd let everyone know.

That's why you never see new players basing, I remember joining zarp and seeing all these bases, big and small. Now it's just baron apart from the occasional double doors base or a nuke launch.

Apparently you weren't around when stuff like the orbital and m202 were FIRST introduced.

EVEN IF the handcannon received a nerf, you act as if there aren't other things that will blow your hundreds of props down. You used to be able to base in small buildings on S1 without a problem, now you need Donald Trump sized fucked maze walls in order to keep anyone out, but that gets circumvented by the fact people can just blow it all to hell anyway.

Yeah there are other really strong special weapons like the ion, m303 and Spartan, but these arent flooded into the market like the hand cannon and are a lot more expensive , handcannon is the strongest base destroyer currently on the server and it’s dirt fucking cheap, as said before some people have 50 of them

And you have to remember the server is nothing like it was when the orb and m202 was first added , because though they are good, they are no where near as impactful as they were with he addition of prop protection and base shields

There are a huge overabundance of the handcannon, why in the fuck are you acting like someone is going to raid with a Spartan or M303 because they are pretty rare. Think before you type buddy, I was actually around in late 2014 and people still based. Stop acting like it died before the Handcannon because it surely didnt
