Story - My mic didn't work on gmod for a few days, and I wanted to check if it does now, so I asked LJ on teamspeak to tell me if he can hear me.
When testing my mic I said the N word, gmod troller heard it and banned me for 5 days.

While it was wrong for me to say the N word, 5 days is a harsh punishment considering it wasn't aimed towards anyone, and that he could and should have used the mute and gag functions.

Proof - No, I'm sure Gmod Troller can vouch for me that the story is correct.
Extra information - The ban could have been avoided by correct use of the gag and mute functions.

Ive been told you have said stuff like this in the pass.It was not needed for you to say the n word to test your mic.But i believe you deserve a second chance or to get it lowered atleast.

This ban is outrageous. The fact that you received a 5-day ban from, shows that gmod troller is really biased admin. He clearly has something against you.

If I were an admin and got 2 reports of disrespect accepted against me, I wouldn't ban someone for saying the N word unintentionally for 5 days.

Though the ban is way too harsh, before the new protocol for staff members, racism was taken quite seriously and any use of racism in any server would've landed them a minimum of a 3 day ban or so. So this ban is just slightly justified if the protocol didn't exist.

However, with the protocol in place, Gmod should really give a warning for the use of the word. So I do believe that thezeus should be unbanned and instead given a warning.

Imo, gmod may have personal issues with thezeus, this ban doesn't exactly give any evidence of bias whatsoever.

The amount of times that ive had to deal with you since you've returned in playing is outrageous, I even banned you for 2 days recently with one of the reasons as racism, you've gotten warnings for disrespect, muted multiple times. This 5 day ban is deserving and you should really learn how to change your attitude on this 5 day ban. Read the rules and change your ways or the times are just going to keep increasing.

For all of those saying this is ridiculous you havent see this player in game in such a bad term as much as I had.

Almost all punishments are from gmod troller. Seems like gmod troller is targetting you pretty bad. And a 2 day ban for linking his picture? that was ON the forums? That is just bullshit.

* He even said in the chat " I was testing my mic ". It's not like he went around calling people <racist word>. This ban is just crazy.

Here is the thing, none of you have experienced THEZEUS like I have. He is extremely toxic, he's disrespectful, he breaks rules when he thinks he can get away with it, he has past punishments and he is always if not most of the time doing things to upset me, harm me or just piss me off. I've been told by a Head Admin if a player has been punished for things like this in the past and it's at the point where a ban is at stake then you may ban them. In this case I banned him because he deserved it for the amount of Disrespect, Racism, Harassment, Toxicity (Not Punishable), Horrible attitude (Not Punishable) and rule breaking. He has been punished enough and spoken to enough for this and it's time he takes a bigger time out than usual.

Both me and Luan will be handling this appeal, we'll post back shortly with the outcome.

The 2 days ban wasn't for racism, even in the reason you can see that you noted "racism (earlier)".

Pointing out again, of course being racist is wrong, but it wasn't meant towards anyone and a gag & mute could be perfect in this situation.

Repeating myself again, you only kicked me once for racism, and the gap between a kick and a 5 days ban is huge, especially when a gag and a mute could do their job perfectly.

We have discussed this with gmod and the ban was a little long but you were in the end still racist so we have decided to accept this appeal and lower your ban. You do know that racism is not acceptable and in the future you could use other words to test your mic.
