Reason: No reason was given Server: Minecraft friendlyplayers + Zarp server Time: Not specified Story: I logged onto Minecraft and went to log on to friendlyplayers, which I noticed has now been colaborated with ZARP Gaming. I clicked 'join server' as I normally do, and after a moment got the error message:
'Kicked whilst connecting to FP: You have been banned from the server.
Reason: No reason was entered.' This confused me, as me and my friend have been more or less the only people on the server recently, and we not broken any of the rules, and if there's a rule I was unaware of that I was breaking, my friend and I had been doing the same activities for a good few weeks now, maybe even months, and neither of us had even had a warning against this rule, neither did we do anything we normally wouldn't. I have been a member of friendlyplayers for years now, yet have only recently started playing. I do not know why I was banned, and as there is no reason given, I assume neither does the admin who banned me. If anyone who reads this has any questions I will be glad to answer them |

You were banned because there were MASS amounts of griefing done on your account. It was so bad a staff member issued a permanent ban on the account and all block changes by the account were reset. I am willing to decrease the time of the ban however since all block modifications were reversed due to the damage, you will have to work with a staff member to get your buildings restored, I need to talk to whoever banned you in the first place though to see what they would think would be reasonable.

Ok, I didn't do any griefing personally, so I'll put it down to the same reason I'm banned from a lot of servers - my cousin or brother did something on my account. I will change my password immediately now that I know how.
Having said that, I understand now at least why I was banned, and thank you if you do decide to reduce the amount of time on the ban |

But it happens to me a lot, because until recently I didn't know how to change my Minecraft password (which I have done now, after asking my brother how he did it). My cousin is 9 years old and continuously does things on my account when he's over, because he has no idea that it's wrong not to, and I can't even count the amount of responses I've got not unsimilar to this one. My brother... well, he's just a jerk who thinks it's funny to get me banned. I got him back a couple of times, but he changed his password so I couldn't do it anymore . It makes me sick, too, that people who this probably never even happens to pretend that it does, because it happens to me all of the freaking time and no-one ever, EVER believes me because of people like that making the 'excuse' to common, and thus leading people to believe it isn't true. It's like the boy who cried wolf, except the boy is a whole bunch of people on the internet that want to ruin my peaceful Minecraft experience... It's also the reason I'm trying to get my own server to work, because if my cousin or brother do anything, then I can ban THEM for once... Anyway, rant over. Can't wait the inevitable reply where you tell me I'm still wrong/a liar, as you can never believe this excuse is real ever again because, like everyone on the internet seems to be these days, you're incredibly stubborn and refuse to believe anyone but yourself can be right. Trust me, I know the internet by now, and you will reply with something along those lines. (though I do appreciate your support of the perm ban decrease. Thank you.) |
