TOPIC: [SSRP] Richard's Ban Appeal

Reason - Banned on 31/12/2022 - 18:14:12 for 5 week(s) with reason Alternative Account abusing (using alts to pick up rewards)
Server - SSRP
Time - 5 Weeks
Story - Was afk with bind mouse1 +use with 2 alts on the chirstmas tree gifts.
Proof - None needed.
Extra Information -
I have been warned at least 3 different times for using alts in wrong ways, I have learned all the limits of using alts and do almost nothing with them. Every christmas event alts are used to pickup gifts, same as printing, mining ores or making drugs.
nontheless the rule states NOTHING regarding this and many staff members have seen me do it without even saying it's wrong!

The rule:
1.10 Alternate Accounts - Using alternate accounts to interact with NPCs or to give yourself an RP advantage is not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to bailing yourself out with an alternate account. Furthermore, players may only join events on one account and cannot use any alternate accounts to boost their chances of winning the event. They are also not permitted to "hold" a base with an alt account while they do other things, as an example: buying the door on your alternate account whilst using your main account to raid a base as a police job.

The following are some examples of what is not allowed to be done by Alternative Accounts:
- Joining Events
- Bank/Casino Raids
- Drug Runs
- Using alt accounts to complete Daily Objectives of another account
- Using alt accounts to bypass player limits on server events or actions (ie. Nukes / bank / casino raids)
- Using alt accounts to claim rewards for levelling up jobs (ie. Nuclear Scientist, Police, etc.)

as the rule states - I do and did not: Interact with NPC's, get an RP advantage, bail myself, join events, hold a base, buy doors, bank, casino, drug run, daily objectives, player limit, or claim rewards with leveling up, or anything else! - I only use the alts to print, mine, collect gifts on event, and increase fault amount which was told to be allowed by a HA/b]

if this is not allowed a 5 week ban is not fit for the rule break.. no recent warnings and new years eve..

Side note.. it is new years.. and this is so disrespectful to give a ban like that to someone who works his ass off and is an active member of the community.

I remember in 2021 you were in the Christmas update and it's not new that you used this job to farm and I guess the same way
besides, I remember it very well since it was the period when you "exploited" a place that is off the map to print

It's understandable to punish based on punishments history and with haste indeed, but not in this case as it is not an obvious rule break imo from the player's pov, regardless if that player is a year-long member.

The lack of communication i mentioned was referring to the part between identifying the rule break, and taking action against it. If the player was informed and given an explanation before being harshly punished, this could have been avoided completely, assuming they understood and stopped.

If this was actually done and the player proceeded to ignore the verbal, then i'd have to minussp.

You quite literally bypassed server limitations with the use of alt accounts, Nothing about the punishment was invalid. Now the duration of the ban however is a tad extreme, however from what I've heard this is not your first time getting into trouble for something similar to this.
Not only this but your general attitude towards this has been less than desirable.

Common sense says he broke alt abuse rules, you may not have developed the SSRP sense due to not playing, but what can I say?! MLA8 format responses look great and constructive

Suggestion: get staff on the server start playing and then hoard cash and items without using any of them! (thats a joke!!! thats usually what "people" of your caliber do on the server) then maybe you'll be involved. writing these paragraphs is just making you look like a fool
