TOPIC: [TTT] Hazzenator's Demotion Appeal

Before we get started I want you all to understand how much I have thought about whether or not to appeal this demotion. I am very sorry for all my actions and more information can be found in the appeal below.

Story/Situation - What happened?
I have thought long and hard during the week as to if I should appeal this demotion or spend a while rebuilding my trust with the Lead Team. However, speaking to numerous people and considering all the factors that I have been told influenced the decision to demote me, I have decided I would appeal. I personally would like the Head Admin team to reconsider some factors and vote based on the evidence and what they feel is right and appropriate, not what they feel they should have to vote for. I have apologised many times in great detail to those affected, even to players and gangs who I have very little friendship or relationships with. Regarding my appeal, the best way to explain the story and give further detail is to break it down into the key parts, my SSRP resignation turned demotion and the knock on effect on TTT.

SSRP Actions and Attitude
I resigned on SSRP on Friday 20th November, however in the hours before my resignation i made a few stupid choices which I regret and have apoligsed for to all those involved. To add some context, prior to raiding a base I misused the spectate command on multiple occasions in what was deemed to have given me an RP advantage. I spectated multiple users upon connection to the server, and another just 2 minutes before raiding the base. I have explained to the SSRP LT member who gave me my demotion to explain the details, but it was too late and pretty much brushed aside. The final spectate before the raid, I started to spectate a user and my lunch was ready, so I ran downstairs to collect it and upon turning to my PC my friends on Discord and started to raid the base so I joined them - on reflection I should not have as I had gained information from spectating. However, this did not have an impact on the raid as no items were lost and the Evo Suit gave me information on player location as it was anyway - note I am not justifying my actions at all, it was a stupid choice and one that I regret.

I have also been told that actions which lead to my demotion included my choice to call an airstrike on the WW2 event during a round where other users used items, including nerve gas and a jugg suit. I thought it would be funny, and at the time I assumed nothing was impacted as the airstrike hit after the round was over/ due to be replayed. When confronted by Martin, he asked me to ‘stop being such a cunt’ and left me on a roof, banned from the event - which is justified. I was then told my attitude was bad when I was warned by Onion for ‘disrupting events’ and I told him that the other users need warning. I got no reply ingame at the time, he warned me and noclipped away. I have since spoken to Pie on 2 occasions after the event to apologise for any issues I caused and for ruining his event, which he accepted both times. I have sent an apology to Onion and Martin, by Discord and Teamspeak respectively although I have had no reply from them as of the time of writing.

Regarding the Attitude part, I have had very little information sent over to me regarding this. This was then missed out by myself when speaking to other HAs prior to the TTT meeting about my side of the story and making me look like a liar. After the meeting a TTT HA message dme saying, ‘You could have told me the whole story’. I told this HA all the information I knew and I was aware of after my demotion on SSRP was given. Surprisingly, I cannot defend or explain actions which I have no idea are being brought against me. Now, I will hold my hands up and say that my attitude as of late on SSRP hasn't been the greatest. The classic situation of the excessive, over-the-top and ridiculous level of toxicity that the gang wars now produce has led to many players having heated moments. The SSRP LT member who has been helping me recently told me a day after the TTT meeting that my attitude was also part of my demotion on SSRP. The main example of my attitude was, and I quote “Your attitude between PL and yourself.”. Now, I will hold my hands up, I haven’t shown the best attitude at times to members of Pink Lemonade and there are times when I could have been nicer. However, I have spoken to some members of Pink Lemonade and they told me, and again I quote, ”We were all laughing. It was fun. I love how someone in the LT made that decision for us. We weren’t bothered.”. Now, that was only from one member of the gang and I would like to take this part to apologise to anyone in Pink Lemonade who was impacted/ affected by my negative attitude towards them. I am also sorry for being toxic after some nukes. The main situation in question was after a nuke that we (Etherious/ Prismatic) won, we all said gg and PL said nothing in reply, so I said “oh what a surprise nothing from PL”. This wasn’t meant to be toxic and was deliberately done a few seconds after the completed nuke as a bit of fun, a little poke to have some fun. On reflection, I shouldn’t have said that as a staff member and I apologise to anyone in Pink Lemonade who was on at the time and I caused offence too. I am sure that both sides will say there are times when the gang rivalries have turned ridiculous and that was a factor in my resignation. For context, I was forcing myself to play and try to get 20 F1s, which was hard at the best of times.


Impact on TTT
Following on from the situation on SSRP, I was informed that someone was planning to bring me up in the Head Admin meeting on TTT. I took this time to produce a 2 page word document explaining my side of the story in detail to help provide some context. OnionRings was brought into the Head Admin Meeting to provide context from the SSRP side and that's when some allegations were made, which I was not told about, and led to me lookin like a lair. I was told my demotion on SSRP was for, ‘Mass spectate abuse before resigning’. I explained and gave context along with apologising for these actions. It was then brought into the TT meeting that I was also demoted for my attitude, something which I was not told about in detail until the day after I was demoted on TTT. As I was unaware of this being included, I only brushed over it quickly and it looked as though I made it out to be a small, irrelevant issue which upon being told the full details it was more than that. The decision was made that due to these actions on SSRP, I was no longer able to hold a Lead Team position on TTT.

This news of my demotion was expected after being told who planned to take action, and I am very grateful that the Head Admin team chose to keep me on as an admin. However, I feel that the situation as a whole could have had a better result. Some form of action was expected, but I feel a demotion of such scale based on 1 mistake, of which I regret and have expressed this feeling many times, can destroy 7 months of work and dedication in the Lead Team with not a single personal issue or report.

On the same point, I have been in the Lead Team for over 8 months, having been accepted in March 2020 as a super admin. I then joined the Head Admin team in April following the demotion of Darling. Since then I have spent countless hours working with the other Lead Team members and server owners both past and new to help the server to run in the best way it can. I worked with JimJam to test changes, assist with card packs. I have worked with Lead Team members to produce and update numerous documents to help aid the staff team. More recently I have worked with Nay, since his promotion to Server Owner, on numerous occasions to test new weapons and items. I have almost finished a new and improved staff guide which is much better and easier to use, sorted into clear sections and online (SCREENSHOT). Yes, what I did on SSRP was wrong, but does that ruin and overrule the time, dedication, commitment and passion I have shown the TTT server since I regained a staff role back in June 2019 to now?

An Apology
I have given this its own section so it is clear and easier for all to notice. It is a very simple thing and something that I need to say following the recent events. On a general note to the community, I am sorry for everything that I did on SSRP that may have affected you. I am sorry to anyone who was at Pie_’s WW2 event on SSRP whose time was ruined by the airstrikes I called in, leading to their deaths. I am sorry to Onion and Martin for showing a poor attitude to you both when talking to me on SSRP and, where applicable, Discord. I am sorry to Xnator, Chute and EMP for abusing my powers on the SSRP server that they have spent countless hours on making it the best they can. I am sorry to anyone from Pink Lemonade who felt offended, or anything of a similar nature, due to comments I made in OOC during nukes, raids, airdrops etc. It was never meant to cause harm to you guys and was only ever meant to be a bit of fun, but I will admit that at times it did go out of control. I am sorry to anyone who was also in the base when I misused the spectate command prior to a raid. Specifically this goes to stink as there is 1 occasion where I spectated him while I was in spawn, went to get food and returned to join my friends in raiding his base.

Overall, I am sorry to the community as a whole who put their trust in me and I lost elements of that trust due to my actions. I am trying to rebuild this and will ensure anyone impacted by my actions receives the appropriate compensation. I have thought long and hard about whether or not to appeal the demotion and I feel I would like to have a second chance. I would appreciate the Head Admins of ZARP TTT to consider all the work and dedication I have put into the role alongside all the time I have put into the role to help the server to be the best it can be. Hopefully we can grow and continue to put in the hard work we did previously to push TTT up the world rankings as a team, with me being a member of them.
