Story - What happened? I placed a swastika with a text sign saying: "The swastika is a symbol of peace, #ReclaimTheSwastika, I'm a Jain
Extra Information - Anything you think may be relevant to your ban. In the past year that I have been off the server, I went on a spiritual journey and sampled many different spiritualities and religions, with Indian religions deeply interesting me. Upon researching Jainism I converted and have become a deeply devoted Jain. This is when I realized that people's interpretation of the swastika is deeply perverted by Adolf Hitler and his Nazi third Reich. Upon realizing this I began my process of reclaiming the symbol for its traditional meaning as a symbol of peace and prosperity/good luck (With this even being the meaning in Europe and the Americas until Hitler co-opted it for his Reich)

In this section of the appeal, I will be going more in-depth into the history of the symbol by each region it has been found

Hinduism: the symbol with arms pointing clockwise (卐) is called swastika, symbolizing Surya ('sun'), prosperity and good luck, while the counterclockwise symbol (卍) is called svastika, symbolizing night or tantric aspects of Kali. It is also a symbol of Indra in Vedic Hinduism.

Jainism: swastika is the symbol for Suparshvanatha – the seventh of 24 Tirthankaras (spiritual teachers and saviors)

Buddhism: It symbolizes the auspicious footprints of the Buddha

In many European pagan religions, it symbolizes thunder, and lightning with it being a symbol of Zeus/Jupiter in Greco-Roman mythology, Thor in Norse/Germanic mythology. It is also a symbol of the Sun in many of the Ancient Illyrian cult. The swastika is also a symbol of eternity and eternal light in Armenia.

In more recent history the swastika in Medieval Europe was used as a hooked version of the cross, representing Christ's victory over death (so it's not only a symbol in Dharmic and European Pagan religions)

The Americas: The symbol represents good luck in the Navajo culture.

Now to approach this Appeal from a more "legal" standpoint by analyzing the rules. The only rule that could be used to punish someone for using a swastika is

1.1 Discrimination - Discrimination in any form (racism, sexism, prejudicial remarks, xenophobia) is strictly prohibited on our servers.

Particularly the xenophobic part, while some people may perceive the symbol in its perverted meaning we've clearly established that the symbol is religiously important to over 1.4 billion people. The only way you can uphold this punishment is if this server says that every single Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist, among anyone else who sees the symbol as a holy icon rather than a symbol for hate. By upholding this punishment you are saying that every single Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist is xenophobic which in itself is Xenophobic or anti-dharmic and closes off the server to over a billion people.

The question of this appeal isnt whether Ezehzz told me to remove it, its the fact that I didn't violate any rules on the server so the ban itself is wrong.

And which part of this post looks like a troll? my religious affiliation?

Posted again because the handling staff didn't do a very good job and dismissed every single point as my post "looked like a troll"

It's been stated multiple times that swastikas are not allowed it's just been loop-holled oh it means peace in another religion when people see it the 1st see the thing they're gonna associate it with nazi germany not Buddhism or Hinduism
