I was being shot at and chased when I was a traitor running into tower, I turn around and spray 4 shots of the tec-9 at the people shooting, 1 bullet hits my traitor buddy and he dies from the 19 damage the tec did to him, I immediately apologized for my actions and crossfire technically isn't RDM (IMO) if it is someone just walking inbetween a group of people in a gunfight .

This last one was me stressing the point that if 1 of four shots from the most inaccurate gun in the game hits someone in the middle of a gunfight shouldn't be classed as RDM. He didn't seem to know the rules regarding it so that's why I'm including this last one. I think he should be talked to so he knows the exact extent of such a rule.

the fact that it's RDM doesn't immediately mean you need to hand out a punishment for it, especially in a case which Kyber couldn't control and immediately apologised for.

Punishments are intended to help people to learn the rules or dissuade blatantly abusive users, not to just fuck over someone who is applying for staff and actually does his best to follow the rules.

Back when I was staff (around 5 months ago) if it was crossfire that was legitimate (1 of my shots of 4 hit him) and it was an obvious error even if it is against the rules now. As you can see,theres two people shooting at me (Ridu and kungfupanda) who I reaction shoot at them back. There was a legitimate gunfight and even if the rule has been changed then it would be extremely harsh due to the situation

After talking to Label and after looking at the logs provided, we have decided to accept this appeal because even though the logs say it was not crossfire, this was your first warning which deserves to be a verbal Please make sure when doing an appeal like this again and don't people "on accident" again. Please be more careful in the future as it is still crossfire. This is your verbal warning for this. Next time, we won't be so lenient.
