After talking with ♛BossComic23♛ we have come to conclusion to accept this appeal. This punishment was extremely harsh for the situation that regarded a high fire rate and recoil weapon being used in open gunfight. Also a factor into this decision making was a bias that the staff member who made the call to punish (not ♛BossComic23♛) TheFierceOwl has against him which is the only reason I see he got punished in this situation at all. Response to the report from TheFierceOwl was made under the impression that the victim died to a T trap instead of crossfire (which supports the general idea that it was not intentional to begin with.) I think this violates staff ethos as "Our aim as a staff team is improve the experience for the people in the community, not to interrupt them whilst they are playing when it isn’t needed."
I will get a Head Admin to remove the warn in question
Post Scriptum:
To the staff member I am refusing to name I do think you should combat your bias against this person. Your bias has been clearly visible for weeks. If you cannot control your bias against a certain individual you should refrain from handling anything related to them. If I may quote something you said merely minutes after you told ♛BossComic23♛ to punish them: "I don't like him because of his past and that i still feel hes immature as fuck" and "plz dont let owl get mod" such treatment is not fair towards someone who has in my opinion improved by a lot in just couple of months. That is discouraging and very hostile.
Also I would like to remind you of the ethos and especially about the attitude part
We recommend all staff to remain calm and friendly when dealing with users in the community, this way we ensure that the relationship between the staff and users remains good and leads to a friendlier environment.
