TOPIC: Workshop Addon: Physgun Build Mode

I'd like the Workshop Addon Physgun Build Mode to be added onto the RP servers.

Why?
It makes building easier with auto-nocollide and whatnot. Watch the video linked in Workshop.

How would it benefit the server?
Easier building, less No Collide toolgun spam, and when the option is enabled, you can't propkill, the prop jsut freezes as soon as you let go of it.

Didn't test this yet, could be a great asset.

I'll ask Icyfresh, our master builder, what he thinks about it. Also we try to stay away from as much addons as possible since the download would just take down the player experience massively. Not because of lagg, we have a well provided server but due to the wait time for downloads.

Will only be worth adding if it really is a world of difference. I prefer the original tools anyways.

The .gma file is ~17kbs, shouldn't take more than a second to download.

This isn't a replacement for the default Physgun, it simply adds a "Options" menu for Build Mode which lets you toggle it on/off, as well as change the settings (snapping, rotating etc).

By default it's turned off, good for "newcomers".

It could probably even be modified to the point where it's forced on. Doing this would greatly reduce propkilling, because your prop would just freeze when you let go of it.

Don't know if my opinion matters on this subject since you havent seen many of my builds yet. But ehm, i'd say while that there is usefull, it's not NECESSARY. Use precision toold and you get all the precision in the world.

On the other hand i think i may have a reason for it to be real necessary. If it could be improved so that it could replace precision tool, you wouldn't be able to abuse precision to teleport with cars (i'm not trying to promote my threat, but i have written a topic on the subject).

Looks like a nice idea, will be more comfortable and sexier +Support
