Which server is this suggestion for?: Forums
What would you like to add?: Removing +support neutral and -support
How would it benefit the server/why do you want to add this?: Creates drama, and ofcourse people are allowed to have their own opinion, but they could also do it without using -+support, and telling the players how to improve instead of arguing about the application all the time.
Would it be exploitable, and if, how could we make it non-exploitable?: Not.
Additional notes: Most likely not going to be accepted, but the votes are either stupid or rarely good, so removing them would stop all the drama really.
Considering mod apps are being handled in the meetings now, even less reason for the supports.
Some may say that they should be able to have their own opinion, but it's like this : Smallville : Could you improve this question ; ........
Instead of Smallville : Low playtime, Immature player, doesn't deserve the rank , -SUPPPPPOOOORT
Some people really say it like this, for example morgan of freemans being extremely immature sometimes on applications, sorry to say morgan, but it's true.

Removing it would be much better in my own opinion, although I'm pretty sure it will be denied.

If you look at the final opinion, the main reason it got denied is for what I said, I find that kind of unfair, and it should've been improved instead of denied, that same thing 1.2.3.4.5 everywhat what smallville said happened like 5-6 times, and everytime denied, I don't find that very fair.

Yeah I do have to agree, causes arguments and sometimes the players get mad at you in game for giving a -support.

It's never been considered a vote, moreso just clarity on whether they are or aren't in favor of the application.

Might've not been considered, but it is in some cases, and even if not, it creates drama and totally unnecessary.

Votes hardly matter anymore because of the new way we do things.

Totally -SUPPORT

Through this we get the chance to hear the opinions of several people.

And this "drama" is easily avoidable by either talking to players or by explaining the given Vote good enough so its understandable.

FOR EXAMPLE : Making App only viewable for STAFF MEMBERS although I also like to hear the communitys opinion since they sometimes know better.

Just not -support neutral or +support instead they give their opinions and ask the player that made the app to improve themselves, or not and say well done, nice application.

Though the person who made the arguement wasn't very bright, it still shows what happens, things like this happen often.

Well I don't see the difference if they do support +/- or neutral since if you read their opinion you can read if its a +SUPPORT or not but. We both got 2 different aspects.


Anyway I can understand that it sometimes would be better if its talked through only. But there is a meeting the forums are the for a pre-vote and pre-feedback.

+Support aspect is fine, but there is a difference in the - and neutral, if you do a -, they usually get mad at you, by removing them, you have only one choice which is to tell the guy to improve his application.

Ofcourse I am aware there is a meeting, but even if the forums are a pre-vote and pre-feedback, there is no reason to spam the forums with it, is there?

I can already see people spamming comments on applications on the new forums, usually making arguements.

Just going to say this, but not alot of people are capable of handling criticism, and even if they can, they still get mad, sometimes.

that's just the right to vote.
Even without -Support and +Support, people can change say their opinion.
I can't actually find the point at this, and it will not change anything.

Well the Plus or minus system is like an oppinion not really a vote cause chris once said that he accepted couple of mod applications wich had more minuses then pluses so that means its not really a vote but an oppinion so I woud say that removing them woud be the same as probably removing the oppinios. so I will say neutral because: Its not really not necesery to remove them considering that they are not a vote
