Date/Time of Incident: 1st of January, 7:24pm EST

Story: I was walking around and happened too walk into a forcefield, but usually they don't one shot a holo pilot and gives you at least a second to de-equip said suit. When i walked into it the kill was instant. I have provided another clip showing that it is not usually instant when touched by a holo pilot.

It’s because you were walking backwards into it so as you hit it the first time you just went straight back into it whilst turtlx only clipped the force field in the second clip, but yeh forcefields are so broken and need to have a delay between when they can damage people again (like tripmines)

The difference between your clip and turtlx's clip, is that you were running directly into it, meaning u were against it still running into it (also you did have a tiny chance to take off, if u watch the clip u can see that you stopped, then it killed you). In turtlx's clip, he ran into it, then back out, meaning he only got hit by one tick of damage (as seen if you slow down the clip).

Basically, turtlx had a much better reaction, as he could see the forcefield. You didn't have a reaction as good as his to run forward/away from it, as you didn't know it was there, so kept running into it
