No, what you are saying is non-sense and has nothing to do with anything. The drug runners and hitman have the same respawn effect, but the drug runner holsters, so I don't know why it's an apparent "indented feature", does this help you at all?

switching to drug runner doesn't make you go back to spawn, starting an illegal drug run does.
