TOPIC: With Launching Steam.

So basically I came back from school, I went to my computer and I saw I lost connection to the zarp SSRP server. So I went and typed 'retry' in console which basically reconnects to the server. And it said the server you are trying to connect to is running on a new platform or something like that. And I tabed out and it appeared that I needed to update garrysmod , so I updated it , then I got a notification that there was an infected file on my computer, so I restarted my computer and when I went to launch steam it said " Steam - Fatal Error Failed to load steamui.dll". And I don't know what to do i e tried uninstalling steam. Didn't work. Do I tried restarting my computer. Didn't work. And then I tried to shut off my computer for a little bit. But same as the others didn't work..
So I need help

EDIT: I somehow got steam to log in. I updated gmod. But when I press play, it's said "Failed to start game (missing executable)"

It means that They relesed a update for Gmod So you need to update Gmod

I did update gmod.. Then that's when the infected file notification piped up. And hasn't work after I restarted my computer

Your anti virus falsely flaged gmod as a virus and removed it. I'd recomend reinstalling/verifiying the game and letting your AV know of a false positive. FYI this is why you shouldn't just blindly follow your AV, if you had looked at what files it claimed where infected you would have been able to prevent it from happening.
