I have had the same problem you're garrry's mod might be frozeen whilst trying to tab back in I have 2 options, you can either wipe you're pc clean including all drivers not Including external hard drives that would be using usb be careful what you're downloading something could be slowing you're processing speed the other thing you can try is press ctrrl alt delete. And goto task manager then goto the second tab it will give you a list of what proceessing you are using *warning ⚠ * deleting the wrong thing may stop you're pc from working properly.... I would recommend asking a family member who knows about computers to do it don't delete explorer as you will find all icons including windows tab will disappear you would have to repeate ctl alt delete. And find run then type explorer
