TOPIC: Gmod crashing to desktop

Hello everyone,

So here is my problem, i bought Gmod 2 days ago, and wanted to play on your server with my friend (he invited me to play gmod in the first place). So when i try to join your server it goes to ,,Extracted Zarp SSRP content", and Gmod crashes to desktop with no error message. When i join other servers the game crashes after ,,Sending Client Info".
Tried verifying the game cache,reinstalling the whole game. Any bright ideas?

Could be a number of issues from your computer not having enough resources to run zarps SSRP, or it could be a corrupted file in the download causing the crash. You could grab your crash logs from your gmod directory located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\GarrysMod and it's the MDMP file and if you can you could upload them so that we can see what is causing you to crash.

Gmod is one of those games that crashes alot.
Just wait it out thats what i did when my game started crashing.

Did some research and tests, it seems that the Gmod crashes when extracting specific addons, including zarp SSRP content.
