Dear Lime! If you have bought your VIP before new owner you will have to pay once again if you want to recieve this again. I'm slightly worried that I would pay again, and the server would once again unexpectedly go down at some point in the future, which would lead to the loss of my VIP (presumably even if the server comes back). I don't really have any way to be sure that my VIP will really be permanent, or as it was before: permanent until the server goes down and invalid once it's back up.

I understand that certain circumstances could have caused reinstating old VIPs to be difficult, but I would like an explanation, so that I can trust that the VIP I would be buying will be permanent to the extent it is possible.

That is incorrect.

Zarp has gone through a few stages, to make this explanation easier to explain I will clarify. There have been 3 eras so to say of Zarp. The first was under the old owner and it was closed sometime ago. The second era was also with that same owner, he brought the server back up be chose not to restore vip to those who bought it, and the last if where we are at currently with the new management running it. Since the old owner chose to not restore VIP from the first to the second Zarp's, there is nothing we can do to give you VIP back. However if you bought it after the server came back up you would be able to claim access to VIP.

Since you said that you followed the instructions under the VIP tab, and it asked you to purchase it you bought it during the first zarp and there is nothing we can do. If you would like to purchase it again, I don't see Zarp shutting down for a long long time.
