TOPIC: Connection failed after 6 retries.

I have been trying to join for a few days now and it keeps saying connecting to server…, then giving me a connection failed after 6 retries message. Any way to fix?

Did you try using the fix Donny outlined in your previous post?

I have not I apologize, I wasn’t able to see my last post I made, what was the fix?

Zarp has upgraded it's servers and is now under a new host, which is why you are experiencing this.

You can connect to your favorite server by copying and pasting the following in your GMOD console and then pressing 'enter':

I tried using the new IP as well, same message.

I was trying to connect from the DarkRP search, tried old IP and new ones as well.

Yee I’m new and old. Played about 8 years ago but didn’t have much and I started again last week and got VIP. I’m not sure if this issue is client-side, but I really don’t wanna reinstall all my garry’s mod files lmao.

This happened to me once and sadly all I did to fix it was wait. Took like a month

Perhaps try restarting your router. You could try changing your client port, did a quick Google search and found this thread, which is a few years old but people are claiming it's helped...

Appreciate it Nafe! I’ll try those things in a few hours, not at PC right now.

Sometime’s bringing your pc to mcdonalds and connecting to their wifi clears up a lot of clogged problems.

never had this happen but id look into what nafe suggested / look on youtube to see if anyone has had the same problem and found a way to fix it
