TOPIC: Need help with GMOD

So i've been having problems with GMOD which is whenever i load into the server im stuck on the loading screen. I can hear ingame i can hear myself moving but its still stuck on the lading screen. Ive been using dxlevel81 so directx 8 but that doesnt show materials and when using an evo i get a black screen. Anyone know a fix to this. ive tried reinstalling and uninstalling all addons

Most probably your GPU is the problem, you should really not be using dxlevel 81 unless it's super old. Try verifying integrity of your game files, then go set the launch options to -dxlevel 90, also change the mode to windowed just to see if it works.
