If you purchase Booster Packs today, you will receive double the amount you purchased in your account.
This means that, when you go to claim the packs in the F4 menu, if you purchased 2, you will have 4 ready to receive, even if you waited for months before checking.

The offer is based on when the packs are claimed. If you have previously purchased Booster Packs and open them today, you will receive the Christmas items within them, however will not have any extra Booster Packs added on top of this.

To answer your question, yes, you would get the double Booster Packs, however you will not get the extra Christmas items if you open it on Sunday.
