I just started playing medic and I'm really enjoying it- only one thing
I'm really not a fan of the wirring sound effect that slowly increases in pitch as you heal people. I also know this Medic Kit uses a sound- and the file path can probably be replaced; If only I knew where it was... So my question is: What's the file path to the healing sound effect for the Medic Kit? Hoping to change it to something like items\medcharge4.wav The sound the HEV Health Charger makes, as a personal preference. |

It's "hl1/fvox/boop.wav". No idea how you could change it though

If there is a sound with this directory name in your garrysmod folder, it will use that instead. So- what I'm going to do is create a directory with the path /hl1/fvox/ in my sounds folder. Next I will put a sound of my choice in this folder and rename it boop.wav to replace it. |
