i know there is someway to remove this ugly basic crosshair i just forgot how.. don't wanna download anything

Can't help you if you don't want to download anything, I guess that also includes downloading workshop items..

i tried your method and didnt like the "reticle" always being on the screen was just ugly lol

then go on the workshop and search crosshair. And get the one you like.
