Today we're announcing a brand new community rank which will be right at the forefront of our future development plans for new server launches and major updates throughout the year. This rank will be awarded to only the most dedicated, passionate and technically skilled members through a vote in the community team meeting.
The Position
As part of our significant improvements for 2017 we're introducing the new Community Developer rank which will have far reaching responsibilities and the necessary powers & tools in order for them to carry out their new role.
The Community Developer will be responsible for the development of key addons, management of our existing server portfolio, plus launching and developing new servers throughout the course of 2017 and beyond. As we head into the Summer we expect to be accepting and launching a number of new severs and making major changes to existing ones, as a Community Developer you will be at the forefront of these new progressive changes.
New Powers
As part of this new role we have unlocked a number of new powers and tools which will help you to fulfil your responsibilities:
- Access to all ZARP PS game servers
- Extended access to the web ZARP Administration panel
- Access to attend all server meetings
- Access to attend the Server Review section of the Community Team meeting
- The Community Developer rank on TeamSpeak
Yours & Our Expectations
We will be looking for highly motivated and visible individuals within the community on a daily basis. You should always AIM to attend and participate in all meetings including the server review section of the Community Team meeting. And you should be readily available on a selection of communication services in order to help fulfil your new commitments.
In addition to existing commitments and projects you'll be expected to suggest and plan new updates for servers. And to suggest, plan and launch new ones.
We'll always make ourselves available in order to help you achieve you plans and carry out your commitments. Additionally we will always aim to attend and participate in all meetings and will ALWAYS be present at the Community Team meeting. We'll also readily make ourselves available on a selection of communication services in order to ensure the steady management of all services.
Announcement of our first Community Developer
Congratulations to Max who has accepted our offer to become our first Community Developer. First and foremost congratulations on your selection as Community Developer. We are so pleased to welcome you on board, and we look forward to hearing your own plans and ideas as we progress through the induction stages of the role.
The Community Developer induction will cover three key areas; Training for existing infrastructure and services, review of current development plans, and introduction to the Community Manager meeting.
