Just in time to wrap up 2024 with a bang, we’re rolling out a mini update for SSRP that introduces a new feature called “Special Events.” Starting today, there will be a special arena event with a higher-tier prize pool every day at 7 PM GMT. Once a month, you’ll even get the chance to compete for a golden item. We’ll release this mini update around 6 PM GMT—one hour before the first special event.

How does it work?
There are two types of special events: “daily” and “monthly.” The daily event happens every day at 7 PM GMT and features a more valuable prize pool than the usual arena events. From high-tier weapons to suits and minions, there’s plenty of great items to compete for. On the first Sunday of each month, the daily event is replaced by a monthly event, which comes with a prize pool full of golden items. To join, you’ll need to pay a participation fee—usually a fraction of the prize’s estimated in-game value. The special events are scheduled and announced 30 minutes before they take place.

We’ve also added a new tab in the F4 menu that shows the prizes and requirements for both the next daily and monthly special events. Here’s what it looks like in-game:


Disclaimer: The prizes and fees in this screenshot are just examples. They might change once the mini update is released later today.

What events will be played?
For now, we’ve decided to limit these special events to “Falling Tiles” only, so everyone has a fair chance at winning these higher-tier prizes. We may add more events in the future, depending on feedback and participation.

Richard came up with this idea when he was a cm alongside several other economy related ideas. We've implemented quite a few of them, but this one has been left out for a while now. I promised Richard about one and a half months ago that I'd get it done and release it by the end of the year which is why it's kind of a meme that it came out literally on the last day of the year
