[SSRP] Evocity ZARP Preview 1 year 7 months ago #1405915

Exciting news! With the next update, SSRP will see it's first major map update for a long while. Clarky and myself have worked very hard on this and it has paid off in the form of a final version of rp_evocity_zarp. This is the first of hopefully many future map updates for Evocity, below is a short list of major changes with screenshots of what you can expect to see on the server very soon.

ZARP Casino

I have worked extremely hard and when I first decided to learn Hammer I set myself the challenge of designing a new ZARP Casino for the map, only a couple of weeks into learning the ropes and I had finished what is now the new ZARP Casino. The styling is a combination of a building that was previously there, visual design of PatrickTM's original casino and the physical layout of the Riverden casino.

ZARP Bank

This may look slightly different to the previous map design, since taking over as the lead developer of the map I chose to change the bank building to match the bank from Riverden as I felt it better matched the skyline and vibe of the map we are using, you can expect the layout inside to be the same as it was previously however it is definitely on my radar for a large redesign inside for balancing purposes.

Cedar Creek Nuclear Power Plant

As per the request many, of course, the Cedar Creek power plant has returned!

ZARP Mines

Clarky has worked hard to produce some new mines for our favorite gem producers to use for a better roleplay experience and it's turned out pretty stellar.

That is all you'll get to see for now, there are many other changes to look forward to in the upcoming update. Thanks ZARP!
